Hi guys! I’ve just got a bit more time to breathe this week and got to set up the different sections of my newsletter. I finally got the sections figured out and I figured it'll be a better way to organise my content.
Feel free to adjust it under the ‘unsubscribe’ and uncheck sections that you no longer want to receive, just to make the issues that go into your inbox shorter/better customised for you :)
It’s divided into 5 sections, with each list on each section — to make things easier!
Next issue onwards, in May, the sections will be split up into the individual issues! This will be the last long issue containing everything :)
They’ll be out on Thursdays!
Alternatively, if you feel that this newsletter hasn’t been providing you with value, feel free to unsubscribe as well. We’ll still be friends, no hard feelings — I understand! :)
List of 5 Ideas:
Create a list of ‘great/cool things I’ve done’ to encourage yourself on bad days. It helps as you look back on how far you’ve come when you’re down.
Think about skill-stacking: how you can combine your existing skills/knowledge/experience and apply them to better your existing passion/professional projects or create something new. — The creator of Nintendo created the first Gameboy and synthesised his experience working at a credit card company and partnered wth with Sharp who was producing calculators to produce Gameboys ever since he proposed the idea of Gameboy.
What if you could create an online community on Substack with both newsletter and threads, and eventually run it as a business?
Reminder: for everything that has to be done, take it all one at a time
For the longest time, I’ve always wanted to cure my imposter syndrome but have never thought of ‘diagnosing’ by tracking it. Track the times and trigger you feel something and you’ll see a pattern. Inspired by this really great read about curing the imposter syndrome.

5 Random tidbits and digest:
Personal update: I realised how helpful Medium is as a portfolio. It has helped me impress a recruiter, and I got the job to become a podcast producer for my internship. I get to combine both my audio production and content creator skills as the role entails planning content, interviewing, recording and editing each podcast episode. But this has also made me rethink the way I publish since I have left digital footprints containing personal stories that my employers and future employers might see. This is why I stayed anonymous in the first place. But recently, I have been taking steps to step away from anonymity and own my work, for me.
I’ve been taking a ‘break’ from Medium recently, only publishing content as part of my duty as an editor of Coffee Times. I’m back this week onwards with more personal content soon! Meanwhile, here’s a recent article on battling imposter syndrome, something I’ve been dealing with lately, amidst my busy schedule.
